The Island's gas regulator is carrying out a review into whether gas prices should be brought down.
The Communications and Utilities Regulatory Authority says a reduction in prices 'may be warranted' due to changes on the wholesale market.
It added that market conditions still remain volatile, although it's indicated that wholesale prices are likely to remain lower for a while.
The Authority has requested information from Isle of Man Energy and is working to complete the review 'as soon as possible.'
