Childminders and day care providers could be facing higher fees, if Tynwald approves new regulations this month.
When the court sits next week, it'll discuss increasing fees paid by registered care providers.
The Department of Health and Social care is proposing a 5.7 per cent rise rounded to the nearest £5.
The department says the increases will align with the rise in income support benefit announced in the budget.
