Regeneration work to transform Douglas town centre is said to be progressing well.
The main shopping areas, including Regent Street, are currently getting a facelift as they’ve not been improved for over 20 years.
Upper and Lower Nelson Street have already benefited from work and Regent Street is currently being revamped with new paving, seating and planting.
Work is ongoing six days a week to reduce the time it takes and the disruption caused to local businesses.
