The Island has been placed on a red weather warning today.
Further flooding is predicted for this afternoon due to the high tides at around 3pm.
Many coastal areas and promenades will be closed to traffic as tides of around 8.1 metres combine with gale force winds to create a significant storm surge.
Castletown is likely to be the worst affected – with Douglas and Ramsey also at risk.
The water levels in these areas are expected to be around 12 inches lower than those experienced during Friday’s bad weather.
