Justice and Home Affairs Minister Jane Poole-Wilson says her department's currently considering whether new laws are needed to cover Bring Your Own Booze events.
She faced a question for written reply from Glenfaba and Peel MHK Kate Lord-Brennan about whether Bring-Your-Own venues fall under licensing laws and need designated officials,.
In her response, the minister said the current legislation didn't cover customers who had their own alcohol.
But she said her department's considering changing the law after raising BYOB schemes at the Isle of Man Licensing Forum.
