Consultations are under-way to determine whether bringing the endangered Red Squirrel to the Island is a good idea.
According to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture there has been a lot of calls over the past few years to offer the animal a home here.
The idea was seriously suggested recently due to the red squirrels decline in numbers in the UK due to the grey squirrel which has been 'bullying' them.
