What's going to happen to the old Reayrt ny Baie building? That's the question on the lips of an Onchan MHK.
In a question for written answer, Rob Callister asked Chief Minister Alf Cannan what the government's intentions are for the site on Albert Terrace, Douglas.
The building, now in need of renovation, was deemed 'outdated' and replaced by Summerhill View, a 60 bed care home on Victoria Road.
Mr Callister wants to know if the government would consider using the facility for the homeless, housing recently released prisoners or for young people transitioning out of care.
The Chief Minister has until September 4th to reply.
