The Re-Use Shed at the Eastern Civic Amenity Site is closed to the public until further notice.
In a post from Douglas Borough Council, they said the decision is in the interest of safety as there is standing water within the shed.
The council will issue an update when they are in the position to reopen it.
The rest of the site is open as normal.
