Taking in Syrian refugees would be 'problematic' for the Isle of Man.

That's according to the Chief Minister who says after taking advice there are no immediate plans to join a UK resettlement scheme:

Allan Bell was quizzed on the issue in Tynwald yesterday saying whilst it's always under consideration there would be problems with housing and benefits.

He says monetary support is provided through the International Development Committee which goes to international charities but conceded that at the moment we can't provide much more:
