The Island’s annual rate of inflation dropped last month from 2.6 per cent to 1.9 per cent
Excluding housing costs the rate also dropped from 2.5 per cent to 2.2 per cent.
In a change to normal reports the Treasury says it is no longer possible to compare retail price inflation with UK figures due to the de-listing of the RPI as an official statistic.
