Ramsey's War Memorial's future is safe - no matter who owns the courthouse building.
So says Rushen MHK Juan Watterson whose private members bill guaranteeing protection for war memorials was passed in 2015.
Concerns had been raised about the future of the northern monument after the Department of Home Affairs announced it was selling the courthouse - with the memorial in the grounds - for £475,000.
