Ramsey thief to be sentenced this month

A man from Ramsey who's been convicted of six counts of theft will be sentenced later this month.

36-year-old Gavin Organ admits the offences which all took place on December 12th.

A further charge of attempted theft from November was withdrawn by the prosecution who said it wasn't in the public interest to proceed with.

At Douglas Courthouse earlier this week the case was adjourned for reports to be compiled ahead of sentencing on February 24th.

There was no application for bail and Organ has been remanded at the Isle of Man Prison.
