A Ramsey RNLI volunteer has been recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
Mark Kenyon, Coxswain of the Ramsey RNLI lifeboat for more than 20 years has been awarded an MBE for 'helping the charity save lives at sea.
Joining the RNLI as a volunteer crew member in 1988, Mark progressed to become second mechanic in 1991 and then Coxswain in 1998.
Since joining the RNLI at Ramsey, Mark has attended 143 incidents, helping to save 23 lives and helping 181 people.
