Ramsey's rates are set to increase by 6% this year.
Commissioners have set the rate at 495 pence, which is a rise of around 70p per week for a typical three bedroom property in the town.
The new rate is because of inflation, increased costs from the Energy from Waste Plant and investment into infrastructure projects.
It also includes a contribution of 6.1p for the Northern Swimming Pool.
