Ramsey will remember one of its sons later who died a hundred years ago today.
Private Ernest John Clarey of the Machine Gun Corps died in the Battle of Passchendaele in Flanders a century ago.
At 6.30 pm this evening, a cross will be placed at the Town's War Memorial and a minute's silence observed.
Ramsey commissioners say all are welcome to attend - but they'd especially like to hear from any of Private Clarey's relatives.
