Year 9 Pupils to be Educated About Perils of Plant Food
An awareness campaign geared toward educating teenagers about the perils of drug taking will hit Ramsey Grammar School today and tomorrow.
The campaign has been formulated by the Ramsey Police in Partnership with the local High School, Ramsey Grammar.
The informative sessions to be held throughout the day are part of their cross curricular week.
The campaign is designed specifically for Year 9 pupils aged between 13 and 14, the emphasis of the day will be raising awareness on plant food, a substance increasingly causing more problems for young people on the Island.
The school kids will be encouraged to take part in the interactive sessions, it’s hoped the fun element mixed with the hard hitting messages will discourage the misuse of plant food and any other substances.
