Social media users have taken to Twitter to criticise a new cycle lane in Ramsey.
The lane was marked as part of roadworks on Lezayre Road which shut the route for some time - it reopened to traffic last week.
The new cycling lane runs from Gardeners Lane to School House Corner.
A number of Twitter users say the road is too narrow for two-way traffic and a cycle lane - and motorists have been forced dangerously close to bikes.
car and bus/wagon struggling to pass if not astride lane. No centre line is not helpful to good driving. School house is dangerous

What is the actual point of this? Encouraging cyclists to cycle towards each other, drivers still need to pull over to give one cyclist space (#katesspace) let alone two and it's a really short length of road.
