Ramsey Commissioners have announced the town's rates will rise by three and a half percent this year.
That's an increase from 510 pence In the pound to 528 pence.
The commissioners say it's down to the pressures of inflation, not services being expanded or more spending.
They add this includes higher waste disposal charges which are outside their control.
