Police are appealing for witnesses after a hit and run collision which caused damage to cast iron railings which run along the electric railway.
It happened on Ramsey Road in Laxey near to the Mines Road junction just before 8am last Tuesday.
Police believe a vehicle travelling towards Ramsey has lost control on the right hand bend and collided with the railings.
Debris left at the scene suggests it is a dark blue Ford Focus.
Anyone who saw the incident happen, or the driver of the vehicle, has been asked to contact police to help resolve the matter.
