Hundreds of runners will be trying to go faster than the sun itself this weekend.
The 'Race The Sun' Event from The Children's Centre is returning tomorrow (May 22) and will see around 300 people in teams of up to 10 set off from Peel at sunrise at 5.01am and aim to complete a 100-mile lap of the Island before the sun sets at 9.17pm.
The occasion is now in its 12th year despite not being able to go ahead in 2020, and over that time has raised over £120,000.
All money raised each time directly to supporting vulnerable children and young people in the Isle of Man through The Children's Centre's series of projects.
Registration has already closed but officials have released information of where the race will be heading across Manx shores during the day.
