An MHK wants to know why the government is tendering for a private company to do food hygiene inspections.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will quiz Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Clare Barber about it when the House of Keys sits next week.
He also wants the minister to make a statement.
The House of Keys is due to sit from 10am on Tuesday, June 9 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
