Three local residents will be recognised in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
Tim Cullen and Pamela Shimwell-Mayo will both receive an MBE - Tim in recognition for services to international financial management and Pamela for services to parkinson's disease.
Judith Arnold will receive the British Empire Medal for services to CRUSE Bereavment Care.
Mrs Shimwell-Mayo has worked tirelessly for the Island's Parkinson's Disease Society since the late 80's.
