The group launched 'At Speeds Approaching 100mph', written by Derry Kissack, to mark their retirement, with the first batch going on sale at TT.
Derry says they were delighted that the first 500 books have sold so quickly, so they're getting more printed and will then make another donation to Hospice the.
A cheque for £2,000 was handed over to the charity's Chief Executive John Knight and Fundraising Officer Sarah Cubbon.
