Public sector rents on the Island are set to increase from April 1st.
They're set to jump by 7.5% across the board, with that figure reached following consultation between the Department of Infrastructure and the Island's 15 local housing authorities.
The Department has cited a backdrop of rising costs for routine maintenance, and planned improvement projects.
Tenants who have their rent met by the Isle of Man Government will have their benefits reassessed to take account of the new rental costs.
If you have a one bed flat you'll need to find an extra £5.18 per week, a two bed house will need an extra £7.63, a three bed house will incur an extra £8.74 and a four bed house will cost an additional £10.76 each week.
Infrasture Minister Tim Crookall has said the rise will enable further investment in the 6,200 public sector properties across the Island.
