Public invited to Draft Area Plan for the South inquiry this morning

The public are invited along to the Morton Hall in Castletown this morning for the public inquiry in the Draft Area Plan for the South of the Island.

Its been formulated over three years with the first draft published in October 2009.

Since it was first published it has undergone many modifications based on public feedback from consultation.

 

The document focuses on new development opportunities for the south upto the year 2016, bringing attention to areas that require protection, it also identifies strategic reserve sites for development.

The meeting will get underway at 9.30am.
