Spending £40,000 of taxpayers' money on resurfacing Douglas Promenade is 'money well spent'.
That seems to be the consensus from the public after the Department of Infrastructure started re-tarmacking the carriageway.
Project engineer Darren Young says it's a 'quick fix' until more extensive work can be rolled out:
