Public asked to review DEFA grant scheme plans

Should Environment, Food and Agriculture merge it's grant schemes?

That's the question pitched at residents as government appeals for an answer by conducting a public consultation.

Currently, four separate grants fund capital investment and training - DEFA is looking to fuse them into one Agriculture and Fisheries Grant Scheme.

The money funds food business development, business research, capital investment in farms and horticulture, and sustainable and diversified fisheries.

Anyone with an interest in taking part can do so on the gov.im website.
