Finding an organisation to provide an emergency night shelter for homeless people on Island has 'proved challenging.'
That's according to Chair of the Housing and Communities Board, Chris Thomas, following the closure of local charity 'Graih.'
He adds they're struggling to find trained and experienced staff who can support the vulnerable people in need of the shelter.
The Board is trying to accelerate a long-term emergency service, which it originally wanted to achieve by March, in case a short term option isn't feasible.
