Police are asking dog owners to behave responsibly with their pets during lambing season.
The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team says recent incidents ended in the deaths of several sheep, and it's now asking dog walkers to keep their pets on leads near livestock.
On Facebook, officers say you should also make sure your garden or yard is fenced securely so your dog can't get out.
And they also say if possible you should exercise your pooch on routes that avoid livestock, especially as lambing season continues.
