A political party says plans for a new health tax are unfair and an extra burden on the poor.
Liberal Vannin issued a response to the proposals from Treasury Minister Alex Allinson about the levy, which would represent an extra two per cent on those over the 10 per cent tax threshold.
On Facebook, the party says no new levy should be applied to those earning below the 20 per cent tax band.
It's also suggesting the maximum contribution of £5,000 for individuals and £10,000 for couples should be scrapped because it unfairly advantages high earners.
