A community space in Onchan could host a wider variety of events if planners give the go ahead.
An application has been put forward for additional use of The Old Chapel on Main Road to be available as a community facility as well as a performing arts studio.
If approved, it could allow the venue to host antique and craft fairs and indoor car boot stalls on weekends and monthly pop-up auctions.
It's also hoped it would allow the facility to hold art exhibits up to four times a year for between two and three weeks at a time as well as visual art workshops either on weekends or during weekday evenings.
