Hartford Homes wants to make changes to a 16-home project in Douglas.
The developer has already begun work on the initiative off Farm Hill Lane, but has put forward proposals to slightly alter the layout which, it says, will provide more interesting street frontage.
The homes and surrounding development including a new access road there is currently expected to be finished later this year.
The application is now subject to approval.
