A property management company has been fined more than £17,000 for breaching safety regulations in a block of flats in Douglas.
In 2023 fire safety officers investigated a block of flats in Douglas which didn't have a working fire alarm, which the company didn't fix.
A prohibition order from the Fire and Rescue Service stopped people living there because the risk was so severe and imminent.
The company pleaded guilty to breaching fire safety regulations and fined £17,600 by the courts.
