Figures for people using the horse trams this season has seen a near 30,000 drop in passengers since 2018.
It's thought this may be attributable to the new shortened track as a result of the promenade redevelopment.
Speaking in the House of Keys yesterday, Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall says he agrees this drop in passengers is likely down to the reduced track, and the prospect of lengthening it back to the sea terminal is something his department will consider in the future.
