The Department of Infrastructure says the stretch between Granville Street and the War Memorial will shut from midday on Monday, May 25.
It'll reopen again at 11am on Thursday, May 28 after the fair has set up.
This year, the rides will be open from Thursday, May 28 until Sunday, June 7.
