Promenade parking will be suspended this week on a section of Douglas promenade.
From today (6 September) motorists will be unable to park on the seaward side between Marathon Terrace and Palace View Terrace.
It is to allow construction to remove the temporary tarmac.
A spokesman from My Prom said that parking will be reinstated as construction moves along the promenade
Laying tarmac work will commence on the seaward side from Strathallan to Marathon Terrace from next week. Please note that from Monday 6 September a parking suspension will be in place from Marathon Terrace south to Palace View Terrace (seaside only).
