A Douglas nightclub has closed down.
All four directors and company secretary of G & D's and Danny's Bar have resigned following the licence being suspended.
Police took the action after high levels of drunk and disorderly incidents. They stated in court that two of the licence holders were not fit to operate the popular nightclub.
While Police made enquiries they found that that over a 6 month period G & D's had more arrests than three other similar and nearby premises combined.
The alcohol licence for G&Ds and Danny's Bar has been suspended for 28 days.
There'll be a full hearing on the 18th August.
