A new shed has been installed at a primary school in the north-east of the Island in memory of a man who listened to children reading stories there.
Laxey Primary School have honoured David Cowley by naming a new reading shed after him.
The school posted to their Facebook page some photos from this morning's opening of the shed, saying: 'David's dedication to reading with the children at Laxey School will always be cherished.'
His grandson Alex was thanked for helping commemorate the special occasion.
