From next month, the price to send mail to the USA will go up.
The change will come into force from Monday, July 22 and the Post Office says it's as a result of a Universal Postal Union settlement - regarding new tariffs imposed by the USA.
All countries sending items to the USA are affected by this change and new rates will replace the current ‘Rest of the World’ ones for any letter, large letter or packet destined for the US.
To find out how much your item will cost, a new price guide will be available on IOMPO’s website from Monday, July 6 and advice will also be available from local counters.
