A Manxman has been appointed as president of the satellite industry’s largest global professional association.
Chris Stott, the chairman and chief executive of ManSat, has been a member of the Society of Satellite Professionals International for more than 20 years.
The SSPI is a non-profit organisation, working to promote the development of, and access to, high-quality education in the industry.
Economic Development Minister John Shimmin says the two-year term will strengthen links for the Island's local SSPI chapter.
