The Department of Education says you can apply now for pre-school credit for children who turn four in the next academic year.
If your child's fourth birthday falls between September 1 this year and August 31 next year, you can apply now.
All parents can claim £1,700 but parents on benefits could be entitled to £2,150.
Applications can be made either online through the government website or by filling in a form from Hamilton House or the Welcome Centre at the Sea Terminal and sending it to the department at Hamilton House on Peel Road in Douglas.
