A former Premier League footballer has revealed he gave up the sport after visiting the Isle of Man.
Richard Eckersley, who played for Manchester United, now runs a shop in Devon as well as a plant milk business.
In an interview this week, he says he decided to give up playing after coming to a wedding on the Island 10 years ago.
He says on the ferry home, he realised he wanted to spend more time with his family after a career as a defender.
