Parents are being encouraged to apply for the pre-school credit scheme.
It offers £350 towards the cost of pre-school to parents whose children turn four between September 1st this year and August 31st next year.
An additional £800 is available to those who would be eligible for free school meals.
The financial support was introduced last year after the Department of Education and Children brought an end to free pre-school provision.
