A petition to stop more than 200 houses being built at a Ramsey beauty spot has topped 400 signatures in less than 24 hours.
The change.org petition was set up by Ramsey commissioner Lamara Craine after the proposals for Poyll Dooey were revealed.
Blythe Church Investments has applied for permission to build an estate of 205 homes on the site.
The petition - which aims to reach 500 signatures - had just under 40 names yesterday, but has surged in popularity overnight.
