Potential councillor wants to bridge 'communication gap'

A corporate administrator says she wants to 'bridge the communication gap' between Douglas Council and its ratepayers.

37-year-old Natalie Byron has announced her intention to stand as a councillor in St George's Ward.

She says many areas of Douglas have lost their community spirit and she wants residents to 'love where they live'.

The bye-election will take place on November 3rd - the vacancy has been sparked by Ann Corlett's elevation to the House of Keys in the recent General Election.
