Island Postal workers will stage a two-day strike next week against an 'outrageous attack on their job security, pensions, terms and conditions.'
Members of the Communications Workers Union will walk out on Thursday, December 13 and Friday, December 14.
192 members of the Communication Workers' Union casted their vote during today's ballot - of those, 179 said 'yes' for stike action, whilst just 13 opted against.
It's a over-whelming majority with 93 per cent voting in favour.
The dispute comes after what the CWU has called plans to 'slash pension benefits, impose a below-inflation pay settlement and introduce a two-tier employment model'.
