It comes following an emergency meeting on Sunday where members of the Communications Workers Union voted to ballot for a potential walkout.
However, the Post Office says its been in negotiations with the union for months, over proposed pay and pension reforms.
Bosses have admitted they're facing many challenges, having made a financial loss for the first time last year - and it needs to change.
Further, they say they've presented staff with a 'complex set' of reforms, which they say protects both pensions and wages.
A public consultation on changes to the board - closes today.
