The Isle of Man Post Office has confirmed there will be no deliveries taking place today.
In an update issued this morning, it says the decision has been made to ensure the safety of staff.
Further, there has been no arrival of inbound mail to the Island this morning due to the adverse weather conditions.
The Post Office says it will continue to monitor conditions and recommence deliveries when safe to do so.
