Isle of Man Post Office is asking people to protect posties from pooches.
It's put out leaflets to help keep postal workers safe, saying dogs are territorial by nature and can behave unpredictably.
They're asking for people to avoid having free-roaming dogs in gardens or streets when deliveries are due to be made.
And they also recommend securing your pet in a safe place before mail is dropped off.
