The Department of Infrastructure says it's had to extend a road closure in the centre of Port St Mary.
High Street has been shut as preliminary work takes place before major roadworks planned for next year.
But bad weather means the work has fallen behind schedule.
The DOI says the closure will remain in place until next Friday, December 19.
